Jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born February 20, 1937, in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as domestic helper. Nancy was the youngest of six kids. Nancy was influenced by her father's music taste as well as the music played at her house. At the age of 4, Nancy already knew that her future was as an artist. Her talents were developed when she sang in the church choir. The show was on television when she 15 and began appearing regularly on the Tv series Skyline Melodies while still in high school. That same year, Nancy began working at night clubs. Nancy was a high school graduate aged 17 and enrolled in Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a entire year. Then she dropped out to pursue a job as professional musician. In 1956, she recorded her debut album with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band with who she performed on tour between 1956 between 1956 and 1958. Nancy began recording for Dot Records in 1956, when she was part of the band. Cannonball told her she should move in New York and go to The Big Town for the rest of her singing career. In just a few months she had been singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club which is located at Boston Road near The Bronx. A representative from Adderley's company was able to hear her perform and promptly signed her. It was a contract by Capitol Records in 1960. In 1960, she released her first single. Guess Who Saw Today. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a period of two years. After Adderley's influences the singer-songwriter shifted her focus away her focus from R&B to jazz. Nancy Wilson's 1962 collaboration together with Cannonball Adderley propelled her to the top and, in 1963, she had her first hit Tell Me the Truth. This brought her a gig in New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she was a household name.

Maisie began her acting career in 2012 when she appeared in the film Our First World. Ellie was the character she played in 2013's short film Americano and Rum. In 2013, she appeared in the film as Korr Sella in Short Wars: Forces Awakening in 2015. Then she appeared in the Netflix original film The Kissing Booth Season 2 and 3 as Chloe Winthrop.
